Bridger’s Botanics is a small-batch herbal practice based in Carolina Beach, NC. We source in-season and local ingredients when possible. Every product is clean, plant-based, and carefully formulated with inspiration from the folks who need and use them. Personalized formulas are created with intention, honoring traditional herbal practices while promoting gentle, everyday wellness.
What are Botanics?
Dating back to the 1650s, the word botanics refers to any plant matter used as medicine. Apothecaries, brimming with botanics, provided our first medicines. The transition of local apothecaries to modern pharmacies arose out of the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s. At Bridger's Botanics, leaning into the old ways before modernization is a way of life. We find authentic joy and vitality in working with our first ancestors—the plants—as a primary way to support the body.
Meet the Maker
Bridger Hahn, a lifelong resident of eastern NC, began her journey as an herbalist when she noticed the overprescription of antibiotics that our society deemed normal. She was determined to find natural alternatives to modern-day medicine. She drew inspiration from traditional healing passed down through generations. She's befriended many plants throughout the years as she's discovered their innate medicine and healing energetics.
